How do you like Arion as a boy name?

Thank you guys for your opinions about the name Aryan. I really like name Aryan for a boy , but as said the name Aryan refers to Nazi and other racial crap even though the real meaning of Aryan is noble. Anyways, I have chosen the name Arion now. It is Greek and it means melodious. It was also the name a Greek Poet. What do you people think of this name? I really appreciate your suggestion.

Sure, it's better than Aryan, for the reasons you gave (cultural connotations rather than etymology)





if you have some cultural link with Arion (are you Greek?) then it would make more sense.
Reply:Arion sounds like a nice name, but seeing as I'm a self-conscious teenager right now I would hate to have that name. I don't know though, maybe that would be a good name in the future. Names go in and out of style... Clarence was a popular name back in the 1900's, but how would you like to be called Clarence now?
