Does this sound like a boy name?

I just got a female chocolate lab puppy and I really like the name Smokey, but does that sound more like a boy dog name? I don't think it does.

I have a female Shih Tzu who we named Brussel Sprout. That's not a very girly name but it fits her perfectly.
