Reply:i named my goat georgia. i agree with that person that said boy goats are mean. don't get a boy that's all i can say. we tryed that whole companion horse + goat thing and the horse didn't like the goat. we now have a goat that loves us and not the horse. but we like georgia (even though she does eat EVERYTHING). i would name the goat if it was a boy (fixed guy goats are nice) tom, george, billy, guy, ed or something like that. for a girl ana, anna, lucy, snookums, ellen, or sue. here is a great goat website that has everything on it fiascofarms.com.

Reply:I am not sure if you can call a goat, like a dog. If you can it is better to use 2 syllable names because they would get used to the sound and know what you were saying. For example: Holly, Logan, Piper, Dana, Berry, or Muffin. Those are mainly same sex names. Hope you have a Merry Christmas, and good luck wil your goat! :)

Reply:First off I want to advise you against this. I am actually this afternoon returning a goat that we have had for 5 months... %26lt;swithches into sales mode%26gt; Hi would you like to buy a 8mo old goat!!! No but seriously do not get a male goat. We got one to keep our mini horse company and he has been nothing but trouble. First off he smells awful because male goats will pee on themselves. Second he wants to "play" by butting you or biting at your legs, if you don't give in he will become more and more violent. Thirdly he harrasses the horse more than comforts him. he is constantly trying to hump him (probably won't be a problem with a full size horse), he will bite his tail and pull the hair out (the horse now has a bald spot), he will constantly just irritate the horse and run him until he flips over (that was the last straw on Sunday). Finally he is just not safe to have around anyone that doesn't know him. He is fine with me because i flipped him by his horns one day, pinned him down and showed him who was the dominant creature, but with anyone else he is dangerous. So please do alot of homework on this whole goat thing before you buy one. And if you still get one I hope your experience is better than mine!
Reply:Billy, Alfalfa, Marshall, Mocha, Ramses, Ramsy, Skooter, Sophie, Zeus, Tex, Snickers.... you might not want a Christmasy name all year long... but Noelle is pretty. --- The name Joulupukki literally means Yule Goat or Christmas Goat. You could shorten that name and it would be REALLY CUTE, and perfect for a Christmas memory! Good luck naming your goat! Merry Christmas!!!
