I need an imagery sentence that states that Ashton can be a girl name and a boy name!?

HELP PLEASE!

I need an imagery sentence that states that Ashton can be a girl name and a boy name!?
Ashton can be a girl name and a boy name.
Reply:Not sure exactly what you mean by 'imagery sentence' - do you mean imaginary?

How about two best friends, a boy and girl, both called Ashton?

What do you think of the boy's name Sheldon?

What do you think of Sheldon? And what other nicknames could be used with it besides Shell and Shelly?

What do you think of the boy's name Sheldon?
It's nice.

He could go by Don, that's the only other one I can think of. I'm probably not much help ;).
Reply:I think it's a nice name, it sounds really nice when I say it too (Of course, with my accent, it comes out sounding like Shell ton).

I remember watching maybe one cartoon where a nerdy kid was named Sheldon, but they went to the future in one episode, and he turned out to be rich and handsome :)

The only nickname I can think of is Don..
Reply:I'm on the fence here. I like the sound of it (it rolls of the tongue nicely), but in novels and movies everywhere it's been labeled as a geek name, similar to Melvin. I just couldn't bring myself to use it.

Besides Shell and Shelly, some nicknames might be Don, Hal, Heldon, Holden or Sheld.
Reply:No, not at all.

He would probably get teased at school, as the turtle (or fish, or something) in Finding Nemo's name was Sheldon.

Edit: Oh, I found a site with names you might like! They're older-style names that are pretty uncommon nowadays:

http://www.angelfire.com/id2/heathersnam...

Hope this helps!
Reply:I dont really care for it, i know a guy with this name and he is a good guy so its not a bad association or anything, im not sure why i dont really like it, Ive been trying to find a name for my son due in a few weeks and I think it may just be that i really dont like any boy names...
Reply:I really don't like the name Sheldon. It gives me the picture of some really slow, wet-behind-the-ears kind of kid, though then again, that's probably because of the one Sheldon I ever did know in like fourth grade lol.

Reply:To be honest, Sheldon seems very dated and brings the utter image of geekyness to me. I picture a Sheldon the lonely nerd of the class. It also reminds me of turtles. I prefer the more handsome Sean, or even better, Simon! %26lt; 3
Reply:It's okay. I like Holden better, similar. Some nicknames: Don, Donny, Held, Eldon, Elddie, Eddie. Just a few. :]
Reply:When i think of Sheldon i think of turtle or a nerd.
Reply:im sorry but i dont like the name and the nicknames Shell and Shelly remind me of the beach sorry
Reply:The only nickname I've heard for Sheldon is Shelly.

It's not a common name anymore so it sounds kind of special.
Reply:I don't like it. Only because there is this autistic kid at my school with that name.
Reply:Sheldon makes me think of a turtle.
Reply:I don't really like it. Sorry.
Reply:it's nice. Don or Donny could be nicknames.
Reply:Reminds me of the country singer.
Reply:ummm I'm sorry but I think it's hideous!!...kids will make fun of him :(

Middle name for a boy named Miles and one for a girl April and Lillian/ Lillyan?
Miles Aaron...FOR SURE!

April Hannah or Lilian Michelle

Good Luck
Reply:Aaaron or Frazer

Hard to know without the surname though - some words "sound better" together than others.

for the gilrs names, Lorraine could go with either and, without wishing to sounds silly, "May" would go well with Lillian.

Mark
Reply:my brothers name is Myles Joseph

Luca, Lucas, Gabriel, Dominic, Thomas, David, Noah, and Carlos are some others for you.
Reply:My favorites are Nathaniel and Damian. Great names! I think you would pronounce Josiah like "Ho see ah" just by the way the letters in the Spanish alphabet sound, but I'm not completely positive.

Reply:WHOA jeez 19's pretty young. you sure about that one?? im sixteen and i know im nowhere even near thinking about having kids. thats waiting for at least ten years, until i get settled into a really good job and can sustain myself.

girls names: Jaden, Lane, Jaime, Gabrielle

boys names: Jaiden, Aiden, Dante, Ian, Jamie

ADD: also like tristan, armand, and damien for boys names. freaking cool names.

mostly my criteria is that it has to be either short enough to call out/repeat easily, or that it can be easily shortened or made into a nickname. because not having a nickname can suck, trust me.
Reply:19? that wont give you enough time to finish nursing school!!!

but i mean if thats what you want; have at it.

I wanted to have a girl and name is Rosalie Jade, but apparently my child would be continuously teased because she had a name from Twilight(even though its the best book ever!) I don't care if they get teased about Bella or not! I have had that name picked out since I was 10.. about 3 years before Twilight ever came out!

I'm only 16, but I have had this planned out since I was 10! haha
Reply:alright this is nice of you to ask.. and since i cant have kids(im 26 by the way) i like this...

I want 4. Two boys and Two Girls,( i dont care if its a boy or a girl, i would care about it being healthy)

(when i say would be a boy or girl i mean would like to be)

the first i would like to be a boy- his name would be: James Francis or James Gregory or Isacc Cole.. the second would be a girl- her name would be: Alexandrea Natolie.. the thrid would be a boy- i also like Landen so it would be : Landen Thomas or Gregory Thomas.. the fourth if a girl- would be: Kaylie(sounds like Haylie)Kaylie Nichole..

thanks so much for asking. most of the time people ask for names for their children, what about ours though.. what would we name our children.. Thanks :-)) oh by the way i do hope you would wait a little longer than 19 too have kids, but hey what do i know..
Reply:19 is a little young to have a kid, don't you think....If your married, thats a different story, but even to be dating, you don't want to have a kid when your 19...

I want to have 4 or 5

Reply:Hey our avatars look alike. anyway I would pick Hannah, Rachal, Rebbekah, Sarah for girls and for boys I like Zacheriah, Caleb, Joshua, Isaiah. I like biblical names. I would like to have a few kids but I would also like to adopt because there are many children out there that need good homes.
Reply:I strongly recommend waiting longer than 19. Having children is a full time job, and it's going to be especially hard when you've just gotten out of school and possibly be starting college. I'M 19 and I couldn't imagine having a kid this young.

Anyway, I don't want children. Who knows, that might change in the future, but right now I feel that I won't want children, be it now or later. Regardless, I've always liked the name Isaiah for a boy and Marlena for a girl.

Either boy or girl, doesn't really matter, they would be raised the same either way. With strict discipline and training. No coddling them (I would show appreciation and love, but I wouldn't shower them with toys and leave them without responsibilities)

Boy: Alexander Mahdi

Girl: Isabel Mahdi
Reply:I'm not interested in having kids at the moment, but if I stay with the man I'm with, our firstborn son would be named Jeb Martin. I don't care for Jeb but he loves it. :) For a girl, I picked out the name Kandyl a long time ago, it's a combination of my grandmothers' names, I know its way out there though. :)

Is it ok to name a boy Lando if your not a Starwars nut?

I love the name, like the character, but am not a Starwars nut, my husband says thats the only way it would be acceptable to name a child Lando.

Nut is not a bad thing for those of you who might feal offended.

Is it ok to name a boy Lando if your not a Starwars nut?
Lando is a fine name, only those who are Star Wars enthusiast will recognize the name from that. I think that maybe your husband isn't that big on the name. The name should be something that the two of you agree on.
Reply:I don't see a reason why not, do you like landon? That's similar and not star wars related
Reply:no you don't have to be a fan of anything. what does that matter? name your kid what you want to.
Reply:you could make is short for Orlando, which means "one who is famous throughout the land". It is also the name of a lot of characters in a lot of books, including some by Virginia Wolfe
Reply:dont do it.

the kid will probably be made fun of.

go with something normal....the weirdest i would suggest is Emery.
Reply:I think it's a cool name and that you would not have to be a Star Wars junkie to name him that.
Reply:Personally, I don't like that name. I like the name Landon, with an 'n', but Lando sounds like an alien. Sorry!

If you want to, though, then go ahead!

Congrats!

%26lt;3Marie%26lt;3
Reply:yes
Reply:yes, if you like the name you don't have to be a starwars nut.
Reply:yah its perfectly fine...if you like you can say its OR-LANDO shortened for individuality!
Reply:Why? I know someone who named their kid Zion Aniken!

Zion: The city they were defending in the Matrix

Aniken: Aniken Skywalker of Star Wars

And, they aren't really big fans of either of the movies. Lando isn't horrible but Zion Aniken....
Reply:I haven't watched Star Wars so I wouldn't have known where you got the idea. Lando, Lando, yeah I think I like it, it's different.
Reply:The name Lando is seen in more places than Star Wars. It's a nice name. I'd say you were a Star Wars nut if you named the baby something like Anakin or Leia.
Reply:How about something close like Landon? I'm not a big fan of the name Lando personally.
Reply:i find that name rather odd but no you do not have to be a star wars nut to name your child that
Reply:You could name him Landon because that is a good name too without being connected to Starwars. If you want to call him Lando as a nickname you then can!

Just pick one that feels right! Congrats!
Reply:I'm not a Starwars nut by any means, yet I really like the name Lando.
Reply:i'm not a big fan of Lando. what about:

- Landon - meaning: precocious - origin: English

- Lander - meaning: rich - origin: English

in my opinion i love Landon more.

-------------------- Landon ----------------------
Reply:Whatever floats your boat!
Reply:Yea why not your just picking a word to name your kid it has nothing to do with star wars its your choice not everyone elses.
Reply:You could call the kid Orlando and have Lando for short. Never heard of the character and think the name's unusual, but go ahead if you really want. Just be prepared for the possibility of the child being picked on for their name....
